What are Alloygator Alloy Wheel Protectors?

Alloygators are a robust wheel protector designed to take the impact of kerbing your wheels or driving over potholes.

How do I know that Alloygators will help?

​

As driving instructors, our cars are subjected to being scraped and bashed against the kerb. That's why I have Alloygators, to avoid damage to my alloy wheels. Having had a few instances where the car has been scraped against the kerb, I have seen first hand how having Alloygators has saved my wheel from damage.

As you can see from these photos, the car hit a kerb (in this instance, it was a very hard hit) and the Alloygator took the brunt of the hit which protected the wheel from extensive damage! A new Alloygator was fitted and the wheel looks as good as new!

No, once fitted Alloygators become part of the wheel and are easily refitted by any tyre fitter during a tyre change.

Can I fit Alloygators myself?

​

Yes you can, however you will need certain tools (available direct from the Alloygator Wheel Protection website) and a way of safely jacking your car up so you can spin the wheel freely. If you have not done this before, or do not have the right tools, you may decide to have them fitted.

Do you offer fitting?

​

I offer free fitting of Alloygators for any Pass with Pearson pupil who is currently learning, or has recently passed their driving test. It does not have to be your car, it can be a car that you're practising in or using after your test. You would be required to bring the car, along with the Alloygator kit you've purchased, to Shoreham-by-Sea. You would not be required to purchase any fitting tools.
